John P. Lloyd, President & CEO, Co-Founder
For over 30 years, John Lloyd has pursued his passion and life’s work helping people in commercial real estate financing and investing.
His experience includes commercial real estate lending at two commercial banks, serving as CFO for a Nevada-based commercial real estate developer, and as the President of two California-based private mortgage funds.
Prior to Fidelis, John was President of a San Diego-based private commercial real estate mortgage fund for 12 years. He managed the growth of the fund through the great recession and grew the fund over 400% with no investor capital losses and managed a loan portfolio of over $190 million with investors earning an annual yield in the 7-8% range over his entire tenure there. Also, as a mortgage broker, John has originated more than a billion dollars’ worth of commercial real estate loans over his career.

Allan Paranada, Broker/Loan Originator
Allan received his Bachelors of Science degree in Business from Cal Poly Pomona with a concentration in Finance, Real Estate, and Law. He started his career in banking in 1995 as a personal banking officer with a leading national diversified financial services company, since that time he has held a number of client advisory positions in the financial industry. Allan was a Portfolio Manager for a commercial bank where he underwrote and managed a portfolio of business clients with revenues of up to $25MM and private banking clients with $10MM in investment assets.
Allan broadened his loan origination and underwriting experience where he spent five years with a local private money mortgage fund focusing on commercial real estate bridge financing, as he helped it grow from $93M to $180M in total assets. Allan is also an entrepreneur and owns his own mortgage brokerage business. He now assists Fidelis Private Fund as a broker while also operating his own independent mortgage brokerage.

Monica Johnston, Operations & Investor Relations Officer
Monica brings a unique mix to the team as a former Operations Director, Project Manager, Private Investigator, and Administrative Director hailing from various industries.
At Fidelis, Monica provides new and current Limited Partners information, supports the Investor Portal, coordinates events, and helps generate the financial data for monthly earnings and quarterly distributions.
In operations, Monica manages the loan process from origination to payoff, supports marketing efforts to drive online traffic appropriately through SEO, and ensures the Team has the tools needed to operate efficiently.

Mya Kahalia, Loan Administrator
Mya is a key member of the Fidelis Private Fund team, serving as a Loan Administrator. With a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz, she brings a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence to her role. Mya ensures smooth financing operations, collaborating closely with the team to maximize value for investors and borrowers. Her diligent support throughout the lending process prioritizes efficiency and exceptional service, driving the organization’s success and growth.
